Whether you're rolling out the gingerbread or pushing Hershey's Kisses into peanut butter blossoms, the smell of fresh cookies will be wafting out of kitchens around Atlanta this year.
But for those who want to save a little time — or pass off a professional's cookies as their own — Atlanta bakeries have you covered.

According to Google's 2025 most searched Christmas cookie recipes, Georgia stands out from the southeast in their cookie tastes.
Recipes for peanut butter balls were top of the search for Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and South Caroline.
But in Georgia, more people searched for spritz cookies, a buttery, shortbread-like cookie with German roots.
Georgians also searched for star cookie cutter shapes more often than other parts of the southeast that searched for ornament shapes or Christmas tree cut-outs.
