"I’ve been so lucky to have him by my side all these years. He is young at heart and older than I ever imagined he would be! Full of wisdom, love and good cheer. He’s funny as hell and as good as they get," she wrote.

Natasha shared several personal snapshots of her stepfather in the post, including one of him getting his toenails painted by his grandchildren, him hanging out with the couple on a garden porch and him spending time with his children and grandchildren at home.

In 2017, Watson spoke with PEOPLE about working with his father-in-law, who appeared on his comedy series Date My Dad, sharing the veteran actor charmed the entire cast and crew.

“His call time was earlier than mine so when I got on set, every single woman was just gushing over him and telling me how charming he is. How wonderful he is," Watson shared "Everybody loves RJ!"

At the time, Watson shared a story about when he first began dating Natasha, whose father is Richard Gregson. She told her then-boyfriend she felt he would get along great with her stepfather.

“I remember her saying, ‘You definitely have some similarities to my Daddy Wagner,' "Watson said. “I didn’t know quite what that was and I still don’t quite understand, but I just know we get along really well.”
