Taylor Swift fans are once again taking a page out of the singer's book, opening their hearts—and their wallets—for a good cause.

A whole bunch of Swifties have taken it upon themselves to repay Khalen Saunders, the older brother of beloved Eras Tour dancer Kam Saunders, for the former New Orleans Saints player's hand in his casting for the record-breaking tour.

In one episode of Swift's highly anticipated docuseries The End of an Era, the fan-favorite performer shined a light on his brother's generosity, revealing that the recently signed New York Jets player stepped up to cover the cost of Kam's flight to make it to the audition.

The former Kansas City Chiefs player took to TikTok with a tongue-in-cheek video late last week, writing, “All the swifties thanking me for buying Kam that plane ticket but ain’t nobody asked me what I was for Christmas..” and joking in the caption, "@ da swifties i wear a size 14 and 2x since yall feeling so inclined and what not😂😂😂."

But it Wasn't Just a Joke to Swift's Fans

Swifties were quick to respond to what was clearly just a teasing post, thanking the athlete for making it happen for Kam in one of the best ways they know how—donating to his Original Element Foundation, which focuses on "promot[ing] inclusion, expand[ing] access to football for all youth, and support[ing] health and wellness in every community" to "build a more inclusive and active future for the next generation."

Fans of the superstar performer flooded his comments, telling Khalen that they'd sent $13—Swift's lucky number. He checked in on his donation page expecting to see a handful of contributions, however, in just a few days, thousands of dollars had come in.

"Ya'll have paid the plane ticket back, I promise," he said in another video, adding in the caption, "BRUHHHH WHAT IS GOING ON??? WOW."

"Thank yall so much," he added. "I truly am so grateful to have support like this. I can assure you that every single one of these dollars will be poured right back into the community."

It Was About Much More Than Just the Plane Ticket, Though

Supporters were eager to emphasize Khalen's impact to the defensive tackle, telling him, "This isn’t about a plane ticket, it is about the gift you gave us in sharing your brother with the swiftie world. You thought you were doing this for him, but it was soooooo much more."

"The results of that plane ticket brought joy to MILLIONS and still does," another agreed. "You and your brother are true lights in this world. Kudos to your mom!"

"Also, sir, it's about more than the price of the plane ticket," a third emphasized. "It's about the blind faith that you had in your brother and the love to let him follow his dream and the sacrifice to help him do it."

Kam quickly became the talk of the fandom after making his touring debut with Swift and the rest of the Eras Tour performers, getting livestream viewers hyped up each night as he customized his "We Are Never Getting Back Together" line to the locale—sometimes including a little unexpected vulgarity—experiencing his own Errors Tour moments, causing Swift to break character with some gentle onstage ribbing, and even inspiring Halloween costumes for the youngest Swifties.
